Dr. Nunnally
Dentist
Dentistry is a second career for Dr. Nunnally. Prior to becoming a dentist, he was a Senior Chemist for the City of Richmond’s Water Purification Plant. Dr. Nunnally always had an interest in the dental field. This interest pushed him to go back to school. He attended Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry and received two degrees. He received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2003 and in 2007 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Nunnally also serves our country as a Captain in the Virginia Army Reserve National Guard. When he isn’t wearing his scrubs or in uniform, you will find him spending time with his wife, Jill, and their daughters, Addie and Lindy. His favorite pastimes include biking, yard work, visiting microbreweries and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. Go Dawgs!
Gena
Office Administrator
Gena is a native of Richmond and a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been in the dental field for 28 years. It wasn’t until 2020 that she joined Dr. Nunnally’s practice. Gena oversees the day to day operations of our practice. Her attention to detail and years of knowledge are appreciated by both patients and staff. Outside of the office, Gena can be found spending time with her husband, daughter and their 2 kitty cats. Gena’s favorite past times include cooking, traveling and researching her Italian ancestry.
Cristina
Registered Dental Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator
Cristina is a registered dental assistant. She joined Dr. Nunnally’s practice in 2020. Cristina is a team player and extremely versatile. She can be found helping in both an administrative and clinical capacity. Cristina’s caring and compassionate nature is a true asset to our practice. Outside of the office, Cristina loves decorating her home, tending to her indoor plants, binge watching Netflix, making Filipino food, traveling and spending time with her husband, two sons and their Goldendoodle, Mac!
Ravy
Registered Dental Assistant
Ravy is a registered dental assistant and Dr. Nunnally’s right-hand person. Ravy graduated Magna Cum Laude from ECPI University. She joined Dr. Nunnally’s practice in 2020. She is extremely efficient and reliable. Her ability to put patients at ease and make them feel as comfortable as possible is one of the many qualities the patients and her coworkers love about her. Ravy is Cambodian American and born and raised in Richmond. Outside of the office, Ravy enjoys cooking, baking, crafting, and spending time with family.
Sarah
Registered Dental Hygienist
Sarah joined Dr. Nunnally’s practice in 2024. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry in 2005. Sarah strives to build trusting relationships with her patients while providing comfortable, high quality patient care. She believes in the importance of educating her patients about their overall oral health and helps them to understand the importance of good oral home care. Outside the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and tending to their farm and farm animals.
Aubree
Registered Dental Hygienist
Aubree is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She received her degree from Thomas Nelson Community College (now Virginia Peninsula) in Williamsburg, VA. Before becoming a hygienist, Aubree worked as Dr. Nunnally's dental assistant for 6 years! Aubree is passionate about patient education, especially the correlation between systemic health and oral health. She loves to build relationships with her patients to put them at ease with their dental care. Outside of dentistry, Aubree loves to spend time with her husband, two sons, and two red & white Boston Terriers, Ruby and Walter. They enjoy hiking, camping, cooking, and watching sports. Go Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins!
Rachel
Registered Dental Hygienist / Patient Care Coordinator
Rachel joined Dr. Nunnally's office in 2021. She is known for her warm personality and for providing exceptional care to every patient. Whether chairside or helping patients navigate appoinmtents, Rachel is always ready to lend a hand. Rachel's adventurous enthuiastic spirit brings joyful energy to both patients and cowokers. Fun fact! Rachel has two math degrees. She loves numbers! Outside of the office, Rachel loves traveling and hanging out with her dog Jojo. Jojo is part Yorkie and Havanese mix!
